Patrick Reed is thrilled to be joining the Board of Johego beginning June 2019. In this capacity, he is focused primarily on Strategy and Risk consultation.
Patrick is currently the Director of Advisory Risk Management & Reporting at Edward Jones. He is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of risk management, as well as the risk management of strategic initiatives for their Investment Advisory business. He also has non-profit board experience, serving as a founding board member of The Big Muddy Dance Company, a contemporary jazz dance company with the mission “to invigorate life through dance.”
Patrick received his bachelor’s in Finance with a second major in Music Performance from Saint Louis University in 2007. He also received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2012 and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis, as well as the CFA Institute. Additionally, Patrick became a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in 2015 and is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Patrick is passionate about learning and helping others. The CFA and FRM designations are self-directed, and Patrick has also committed himself to establishing competencies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and decision sciences. Patrick is also committed to developing other professionals to achieve success and bringing joy to those around him. He is particularly excited to support Johego with his skills and abilities and make a new impact in the lives of others.
