Megan Kinney is a Board Member for Johego. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing strategic objectives and maintain good corporate governance for Johego.
Megan Kinney has been an active member in her community since moving to St. Louis in 2000. As an undergraduate, she served on the executive board of Alpha Phi Omega service organization. Much like Saint Louis University’s mission, Alpha Phi Omega is deeply rooted in serving others. Megan sees community service as a vocation, and Johego as avenue to get others engaged.
Megan earned her BSBA, MBA, and JD all from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. While pursuing her MBA and JD, Megan worked full-time at SLU managing a 900-person residence hall. She went on to serve as an event specialist at SLU, assisting in planning and organizing small and large-scale functions.
After earning her JD, Megan became a licensed attorney in Missouri and Illinois. She now practices elder law at Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, a non-profit, legal aid law firm in Illinois. Megan represents and advocates for senior citizens in various legal matters, and ensures their rights are protected.
Megan has come to really love St. Louis, despite being a life-long Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoys the perks of living in a big city with a small town feel which includes new restaurants, good entertainment and music, and new local businesses abound.
