Carlos Restrepo is a Board Member for Johego. In this capacity, he is responsible for connecting the dots between the mission of Johego and the different stakeholder supporters, users and funders who will see that mission through.
A native of Medellin, Colombia, Restrepo is the Membership Manager of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis, helping hundreds of businesses in the St. Louis Metropolitan region grow into productive members of the local economy. Restrepo is also an independent contractor working as translator, interpreter, graphic designer and journalist. He makes sure that all his professional endeavors one way or another enhance the lives of the immigrant communities in St. Louis.
Restrepo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Webster University. In his spare time, he likes to play guitar, dance tango and salsa, and practice martial arts.
He has lived in St. Louis for more than a decade, and is a proud naturalized citizen of the United States of America.
